Coach Gerard Albadalejo has chosen Brazilian forward Daniel Dos Anjos as the only foreign import for Becamex TP.HCM in the upcoming V-League 2 campaign, with the goal of boosting their offensive power to secure a return to V-League 1.
Previously, the club from Thủ Dầu Một had signed naturalized striker Hoàng Vũ Samson. According to V-League 2 regulations, each club is allowed to register only one foreign player, and Daniel Dos Anjos is the name in which the coaching staff has placed full confidence.
The 30-year-old forward is no stranger to Vietnamese football fans. Before coming to Vietnam, Daniel Dos Anjos played for several clubs in Brazil, including Flamengo, and also spent four seasons with Benfica's B team in Portugal.
