The deal was completed just days after the club from Nam Định parted ways with Kevin Pham Ba, demonstrating their determination to refresh the squad for major goals in the 2026/27 season, as well as building a foundation for important future tournaments, including contributing players to the Vietnam national team for the AFF Cup.

Before coming to Vietnam, he played for AFC Eskilstuna in Sweden, gaining further experience in a professional football environment and is regarded as possessing modern tactical thinking.
