Cong An TP.HCM Club parts ways with former Vietnam international
Cong An TP.HCM Club continues to accelerate its squad restructuring before the 2026/27 season by bidding farewell to striker Dinh Thanh Binh, a former Vietnam international. This is the latest move in the club's personnel overhaul plan to prepare for the new season with major objectives.

Dinh Thanh Binh joined Cong An TP.HCM with high expectations due to his V.League experience and multiple call-ups to the Vietnam national team.
The striker born in 1998 did not have many opportunities to shine and failed to meet the professional requirements of the coaching staff. After reaching an agreement, Cong An TP.HCM decided to part ways with the forward to make way for new additions.
Before Dinh Thanh Binh, the club had already said goodbye to several players in their squad reform campaign.
On the other hand, Cong An TP.HCM has been continuously recruiting quality newcomers to enhance competitiveness for the 2026/27 V.League season as well as cup competitions.

After their opening-day defeat, both LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai and SHB Da Nang entered the match determined to secure all three points.
The game was balanced for most of the time before the Da Nang side capitalized on a chance to score the only goal, thereby winning 1-0 and keeping their hopes alive for a semifinal berth. The second consecutive loss put the hosts in a very difficult position in the race to advance.
In the other match, The Cong Viettel I and PVF produced a tight contest with many fierce battles. Although both had scoring opportunities, neither could convert, and they settled for a 0-0 draw.
The point gained helps The Cong Viettel I maintain their advantage in the race for the top spot in Group A, while PVF still has a chance if they get a favorable result in the final matchday.
