Hanoi Club has officially secured captain Đỗ Hùng Dũng with a new contract running until 2028. This decision not only confirms the capital club's faith in the seasoned midfielder but also underscores his unique role in their strategy to chase titles in the upcoming seasons.

The 2025/26 season that just concluded marked the 10-year milestone since Hùng Dũng became part of Ha Noi FC's first team. Coming through the club's youth academy, the midfielder born in 1993 made his V.League debut in 2016 and quickly became an indispensable part of the midfield. Thanks to his smart playing style, tempo control, and fierce determination, Hùng Dũng has been a vital foundation for the team over the past decade.

With over 300 appearances for Ha Noi FC, Hùng Dũng has played a key role in the club's most successful era. Together with the team, he has won 4 V.League championships, 3 National Cups, and 4 National Super Cups. Beyond these collective achievements, the Gia Lam-born midfielder was also honored with the Vietnam Golden Ball in 2019, proving his class and impact on Vietnamese football.
