U23 star leaves Hong Linh Ha Tinh, surprising destination revealed

Vietnamese-born midfielder Le Viktor is reportedly close to departing Hong Linh Ha Tinh, even though the agreement between both sides still has validity until 2027. This news quickly caught the attention of fans, especially as the next stop for the 2003-born player is believed to be one of the Public Security teams.

If the deal goes through, this will be one of the notable moves of the transfer window ahead of the new season. For Ha Tinh, Viktor's departure will certainly leave a significant gap in midfield, as he has become a key link for the club over the past two seasons.

Viktor joined Ha Tinh in the second half of the 2023/24 season after leaving Binh Dinh. In the context of the "Red Mountain" club pursuing a youth policy, the Vietnamese-born midfielder quickly adapted thanks to his solid technical foundation, confident ball handling, and modern playing mindset. Under the guidance of coach Nguyen Thanh Cong, he gradually secured his place in the lineup and became an important figure in the midfield area.

In the 2024/25 season, Viktor continued to perform outstandingly, contributing to Hong Linh Ha Tinh achieving one of the most successful seasons in their history, finishing among the top five in the V-League. Moving into the 2025/26 season, despite the club undergoing many changes in personnel and coaching staff, the 22-year-old midfielder maintained consistent form, regularly earning starting spots thanks to his versatility and ability to connect play.

Not only impressive at the club level, Viktor Le is also regarded as one of the promising Vietnamese-heritage footballers of Vietnamese football. He has dual Vietnamese-Russian heritage, trained at the prestigious CSKA Moscow academy before returning to Vietnam to develop his career. After completing the naturalization process in 2025, the midfielder was quickly called up to U22 Vietnam and played a part in the journey to win the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

At 22 years old, Viktor still has plenty of room for growth and is considered a potential candidate to compete for a spot on the Vietnam national team in the future. Therefore, it is not surprising that ambitious clubs are pursuing him.
