Manchester United's fourth signing has joined the squad without an official announcement! Two new recruits will make their debut on Saturday, while Santos is already planning a celebration for his goal.

Manchester United's fourth summer signing may not be officially announced. The 18-year-old Colombian defensive midfielder, Christian Orozco, signed his contract on Monday, his birthday, and has joined the club's youth system. The Red Devils intend to patiently develop this young talent, nicknamed the "Colombian Caicedo," giving him ample time to settle into his new environment.

The club has arranged English lessons for Orozco to help him adapt to a completely different culture. He has visited Carrington multiple times over the past year and already knows some teammates. Now, he has been assigned to join Manchester United's youth team in their pre-season training camp in Germany, rather than training with Carrick's first team at Carrington.

Orozco has a chance to make his debut on Friday afternoon, as the Manchester United youth team has two friendlies. The U17 and U21 youth teams will face Munich 1860 and Nuremberg, respectively. Orozco, now 18, is eligible to play for the U21 team, which will continue competing in Premier League 2 next season.

Both friendlies for the Manchester United youth team will be held at the Adidas Arena, the headquarters of Adidas and a sponsor of United. Apart from Orozco, the highly anticipated young talent Gabriel (JJ Gabriel) may also feature in the matches.

The 15-year-old Gabriel, nicknamed "Little Messi," is regarded with high expectations by Manchester United, but the club avoids rushing his development and will only promote him to the first team when he is ready. In addition to regular training, the young star has been assigned extra individual sessions with coach Jack Hunt. Hunt also coaches Aston Villa defender Ian Maatsen. Through tailored personal guidance, United is continuing to craft a development plan for Gabriel, particularly focusing on improving his physical strength to maximize his potential.

Manchester United's first team will take the field on Saturday, with their first pre-season friendly against Championship side Wrexham. As per tradition, the summer opener is typically used for fitness building, with two different lineups for each half. The first summer signing, Andre Santos, and the second signing, Karl Darlow, will both participate in this match and make their debuts.

The more notable of the two is the 22-year-old Santos, who cost Manchester United £50 million, making him the club's most expensive acquisition so far. The Brazilian defensive midfielder revealed that after the transfer, he received a message from teammate Cole Palmer, a well-known Manchester United fan.

"I'm very happy. After the transfer, I received a message from Palmer, because he was born in Manchester and knows the place well," Santos said. "He mainly congratulated me, wished me all the best and success in my career. He said I deserved this move, and so on. I'm delighted to be at Manchester United and to be with my new teammates."

Santos is eagerly looking forward to his first appearance at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player. "I remember after playing at Old Trafford with Chelsea, I sent a message to my wife saying, 'Wow, this stage is amazing, the atmosphere and everything are incredible!' Now, I can play for United, and it's an honor for me and my family."

However, Santos will have to patiently wait for that dream moment, as Manchester United has not scheduled any pre-season friendlies at the Theatre of Dreams this summer! What's more, the Red Devils' first Premier League match is away to Hull City. The first home game at Old Trafford will be on August 30, the second round of the Premier League, when Carrick's team hosts Ipswich Town. Although Santos is a defensive midfielder, he has a desire to score goals—he netted 10 goals for Strasbourg in Ligue 1! If he scores for Manchester United, how will he celebrate? Santos joked, "I don't have a signature celebration yet, but I will soon!"
