Opening of the U17 National Championship Finals – Red Dragon Cup 2026

The opening ceremony of the U17 National Championship Finals – Red Dragon Cup 2026 took place on the afternoon of July 16 at Pleiku Stadium (Gia Lai), jointly organized by the VFF, the Gia Lai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and related agencies.

Scheduled from July 16 to 29 at two venues—Pleiku Stadium and Ham Rong Sports Center in Gia Lai—the U17 National Football Championship Finals – Red Dragon Cup 2026 features the 12 best teams that advanced from the qualifying round.

This is an important annual event within the national youth tournament system organized by the VFF. It helps create a high-quality competitive environment for young players to gain experience and develop their skills, while also serving as a foundation for national youth teams to select future talents in the coming years.
