Truong Tuoi Dong Nai is bolstering its roster for the upcoming V.League 2026/27 campaign with the acquisition of goalkeeper Pham Van Phong.
Pham Van Phong is a highly experienced goalkeeper in Vietnamese football. He has represented the Vietnam U19 and U23 teams and spent many years competing in the V.League, most recently with The Cong Viettel. He is highly regarded for his reflexes, command of the penalty area, timely decisions in coming off his line, and situational awareness.
The arrival of Van Phong is expected to enhance Truong Tuoi Dong Nai's squad depth and create greater competition for the goalkeeper position in their first season back in the V.League.

Pham Van Phong is one of four domestic signings unveiled by Truong Tuoi Dong Nai during their squad overhaul. Earlier, the V.League newcomers also added center-back Bui Tien Dung along with defenders Nguyen Van Duc and Phan Van Hieu.
Notably, Nguyen Van Duc just won the V.League 2025/26 title with Cong An Ha Noi. The addition of multiple experienced players shows that Truong Tuoi Dong Nai is actively reinforcing its defensive setup ahead of the new season.
In terms of foreign players, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai is reportedly close to signing three Serbian players: center-back Filip Jovic, midfielder Milos Vuli, and striker Andrija Majdevac. Among them, Milos Vuli has been capped twice for the Serbian national team and has played for several clubs in Europe.
After winning the 2025/26 First Division title and earning promotion, Truong Tuoi Dong Nai is actively active in the transfer market. Coach Nguyen Viet Thang's team shows a strong determination to upgrade its squad in preparation for the challenges of the V.League 2026/27 season.
