Vietnam national team midfielder receives extremely good news during training camp.

Midfielder Khuất Văn Khang officially obtained his university degree during the national team's training camp in South Korea.

Not only has he achieved many successes on the pitch, but midfielder Khuất Văn Khang also reached a memorable career milestone by completing his studies at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports. While preparing for the Asean Cup 2026 with the Vietnam national team, the 2003-born player received the happy news of being awarded his university diploma after years of striving to balance academics and competition.

Khuất Văn Khang and his teammate Nguyễn Văn Tú are two players who have just completed their training program and received their diplomas. Given their hectic match schedules at both club and national team levels, completing university is a commendable achievement for the midfielder from The Cong Viettel. It also demonstrates the learning spirit and professionalism of one of Vietnam football's most prominent young faces.

Born in 2003, Khuất Văn Khang came through the Viettel academy and was early regarded as one of the brightest talents of Vietnamese football. Playing as an attacking midfielder or winger, he impresses with his individual technique, creativity, and tactical vision. For The Cong Viettel, Văn Khang has increasingly established himself as a key player, regularly featuring in the starting lineup and leaving his mark with goals and assists.

At the national team level, the player from Phuc Tho also has an impressive record despite being only 23. He participated in the AFC U23 Championship while still an U19 player and subsequently appeared in three editions of this tournament. Notably, 2025 and early 2026 marked a successful period: as captain, Văn Khang led the U22 team to the gold medal at SEA Games 33, then guided the U23 team to a bronze medal at the 2026 AFC U23 Championship.

At the club level, the 2003-born midfielder also maintained consistent form. In 2025 alone, he played over 2,200 minutes across all competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 9 assists. These outstanding contributions made Văn Khang a key factor for The Cong Viettel, while gradually securing his place in the Vietnam national team under coach Kim Sang Sik.

Currently, Khuất Văn Khang is training with the Vietnam national team in South Korea in preparation for the Asean Cup 2026.
