Xuân Son's goal gives Vietnam their second win in South Korea.

Vietnam's national squad kept up the good momentum in their South Korean training camp, beating Yongin FC 2-1 in a practice game held on the afternoon of July 8.

Coach Kim Sang Sik used this match to evaluate his squad and experiment with player selection. Vietnam fielded two different lineups, each playing one half, giving every player a chance to showcase their skills.

Just nine minutes in, Nguyen Hai Long put Vietnam ahead. The midfielder handled the ball well and finished precisely, giving Coach Kim Sang Sik's side an early advantage.

Yongin FC then pushed forward and equalized 1-1 in the 42nd minute. The Korean club has two Brazilian imports, Gabriel Tigrão and Vitinho, in its squad, which put significant pressure on Vietnam's defense.

In the second half, Vietnam maintained control of the game. In the 75th minute, Xuân Son leaped high to head the ball into the net, sealing a 2-1 win. The striker's goal is a promising sign for Coach Kim Sang Sik as he prepares the team for upcoming objectives.

According to the schedule, Vietnam will continue training in South Korea before playing their final friendly against Gangwon FC on July 13. This is considered a high-quality test, as Gangwon FC currently competes in K.League 1.
