Opening of the Yamaha Cup 2026 National U13 Football Tournament

On the afternoon of July 3, at Lach Tray Stadium (17 Lach Tay, Gia Vien Ward, Hai Phong City), the opening ceremony of the Yamaha 2026 National Youth (U13) Football Tournament Finals was held. The event was conducted with dignity and brevity, beginning the anticipated competition for the nation's youth and children.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, Member of the FIFA National Team Competition Committee, AFC Executive Committee Member, and VFF President; and Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Trang, VFF Deputy General Secretary and Co-Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee.

On behalf of the tournament organizing committee were writer and journalist Nguyen Phan Khue, Member of the Central Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Member of the Central Youth Council, and Editor-in-Chief of the Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspaper, who served as Head of the Organizing Committee. Journalist Phan Viet Hung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Thieu Nien Tien Phong and Nhi Dong Newspaper, and Deputy Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee.
