Nguyễn Filip extends his contract with Hanoi Police FC for three years

The club has formally announced the completion of a contract extension deal with goalkeeper Nguyễn Filip, keeping him at Hanoi Police FC until 2029.

Since joining the team in 2023, the Vietnamese national team player has quickly established himself as the number one last line of defense in goal.

The competitive spirit, professionalism, and extensive experience of the goalkeeper born in 1992 have played a key role in helping Hanoi Police FC maintain a solid defense and secure multiple titles.

Having joined Hanoi Police FC in 2023, Nguyễn Filip swiftly proved his class as one of the top goalkeepers in V.League. With excellent reflexes, command of the penalty area, and years of experience playing in Europe, the 1992-born shot-stopper has always been a reliable anchor in the club's pursuit of trophies.

In the capital team's colors, Nguyễn Filip has helped the club win several major titles, including the National Cup, the National Super Cup, and the V.League championship. Not only has he maintained consistent form in domestic competitions, but he has also made significant contributions to the team's achievements in regional and continental tournaments.

Nguyễn Filip was born on September 14, 1992, in Prague (Czech Republic). He grew up in the European football environment and played for several clubs in the Czech top flight before returning to Vietnam. In late 2023, he completed the procedures to obtain Vietnamese citizenship and was subsequently called up to the Vietnamese national team.
