The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), in partnership with the Vinmec Healthcare System, launched the inaugural 2026 training course on sports medicine in football and anti-doping in Hanoi. The two-day event (June 30–July 1) brings together physicians and medical personnel from professional clubs, football academies, and national teams.
The course is designed to update professional knowledge, enhance player health care capabilities, prevent and treat injuries, and equip participants with the latest international anti-doping regulations.
During the program, trainees are exposed to key topics such as assessment and management of football injuries, criteria for return to training and competition after injury, player fitness evaluation, treatment of overuse conditions, application of regenerative medicine in injury treatment, as well as the latest updates on doping control rules and procedures.

The faculty includes experts from VFF, the Vietnam Anti-Doping Center, and experienced doctors from the Vinmec Healthcare System specializing in sports medicine, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.
In addition to updating professional knowledge, the course also serves as a forum for club doctors and medical staff to exchange practical experiences, thereby improving the quality of sports medicine in Vietnamese football.
This is the first training course of 2026 organized by VFF in the field of sports medicine and anti-doping, reaffirming its commitment to raising the quality of medical human resources to meet the growing demands of professional football and international integration.
Through the course, the Vietnam Football Federation aims to enhance the professional capacity of medical personnel working with national teams and clubs, while strengthening health care, injury prevention, and doping control, contributing to the professional quality and sustainable development of Vietnamese football.
