A wave of V.League clubs are accelerating their hunt for star players ahead of the new season.

The V.League 2026/27 transfer window is buzzing with activity as many teams are busy signing players to upgrade their rosters before the new campaign.

After the conclusion of the 2025/26 V.League season, the summer transfer market instantly became lively as many clubs began the race to reinforce their squads. From title contenders such as Hà Nội FC, Thể Công Viettel, Công an Hà Nội, Nam Định, and Ninh Bình, to ambitious sides like Công an TP.HCM and newcomer Đồng Nai, all are actively seeking quality signings in preparation for the highly competitive 2026/27 season.

Thể Công Viettel is one of the earliest movers in the transfer market. It is also the most aggressive, having quickly reached agreements with notable names such as Rimario, Doãn Ngọc Tân, Triệu Việt Hưng, and Phạm Trung Hiếu. This is seen as an important preparatory step as the club, under coach Velizar Popov, aims not only for the V.League title but also for the AFC Champions League Two. Early squad reinforcements give Thể Công Viettel more time to integrate players and build a stable core before the new season.

In the southern region, Công an TP.HCM has also shown great ambition after appointing a new coaching staff. The team has signed central defender Nguyễn Nhật Minh. and striker Michael Olaha, while continuing to pursue other targets on the market. Experienced names like Phan Văn Đức, along with several young Vietnamese internationals, are said to be on the priority list. With multiple competitions to contend in, Công an TP.HCM is aiming for a deep squad capable of challenging for titles.

Meanwhile, Hà Nội FC enters the transfer period with the goal of refreshing its squad. The capital club has parted ways with some foreign players and quickly signed defender Mai Sỹ Hoàng. Besides, the management is also pushing forward deals in attack and midfield to restore the team to the status of top contender after several seasons lagging behind Nam Định and Công an Hà Nội. The future of striker Tuấn Hải is also receiving attention as he has become a target for many big clubs.

Ninh Bình and Nam Định are not staying out of the race either.
