By partnering with ASEAN United FC tournaments, Daikin seeks to strengthen its brand presence in the region while contributing to the development of Southeast Asian football. Coordinated by Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd., the collaboration goes beyond brand promotion, investing in players, fans, and the sustainable growth of regional football.
Daikin President Tsutomu Kurihara stated that football is a sport that connects passion, energy, and people, and has become part of the lifestyle for ASEAN's younger generation. He emphasized the "Perfecting the Air" philosophy, noting that air quality is the foundation of health and performance, and introduced the message "Breathe the Win" as a symbol of the spirit of overcoming challenges and pursuing success.
"Through this partnership, we hope to contribute to building a healthier and more connected future for communities across the region," Kurihara said.
AFF President Major General Khiev Sameth noted that Daikin's partnership with ASEAN United FC will help elevate the region's tournaments.
"Daikin is one of the world's most reputable brands, known for its spirit of innovation and commitment to improving quality of life. We are honored to welcome Daikin as the official partner of ASEAN United FC. Daikin's commitment to connecting communities aligns perfectly with AFF's vision for football development, enhancing tournament quality, and creating positive value for the region," Khiev Sameth shared.
Meanwhile, SPORTFIVE Asia Chairman and CEO Seamus O'Brien remarked that collaborating with Daikin will add value to AFF's tournament system.
"The ASEAN Hyundai Cup™, ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™, ASEAN Women's MSIG Cup™, and ASEAN U-23 Championship™ are among the most-watched tournaments in Southeast Asia. This platform will enable Daikin to reach one of the world's most dynamic consumer markets and further strengthen its brand position in the region," O'Brien emphasized.
