Hot Vietnamese football news today, June 29: Dinh Bac sets a record for the Vietnam national team; Thai Son Bac wins big in the National Futsal Championship.
Striker Nguyen Dinh Bac received good news ahead of the 2026 ASEAN Cup as international transfer website Transfermarkt increased his market value to 400,000 euros. This is the highest valuation in the career of the 2004-born forward, and also matches the record for a Vietnamese player (excluding naturalized players).

According to Transfermarkt, Dinh Bac's rise comes from his explosive performances for CLB Cong An Ha Noi during the second half of the 2025/26 V-League. The striker from Nghe An scored 10 goals in six consecutive matches, playing a key role in helping the police club win the V-League title.
Being valued at 400,000 euros helps Dinh Bac equal the highest valuation ever recorded for a Vietnamese national team player on Transfermarkt. This also acknowledges the remarkable development of the 21-year-old, who is expected by coach Kim Sang Sik to play an important role in Vietnam's attack at the 2026 ASEAN Cup.
Transfermarkt also adjusted the values of several young Vietnamese players. Overseas Vietnamese striker Ngo Dang Khoa saw his valuation rise from 150,000 to 225,000 euros, despite having to leave the national team due to injury ahead of the 2026 ASEAN Cup.

In the early match, Thai Son Bac completely dominated Luxury Ha Long. The capital team controlled the game from the opening minutes, continuously applying pressure and efficiently converting chances to seal a 9-0 victory. Thai Son Nam TP.HCM also faced little difficulty against Ha Noi. With a squad of experienced players and cohesive gameplay, coach Nguyen Tuan Anh's team fully controlled the match, scoring seven goals and keeping a clean sheet to win 7-0.
The three points helped Thai Son Nam TP.HCM move up to second place, keeping close pace with Thai Son Bac in the race for the championship. After nine rounds, the gap between the two teams remains very tight.
