The Vietnam national team now has 27 players

Coach Kim Sang Sik decided to let overseas Vietnamese player Ngo Dang Khoa return to his club, Cong An TP.HCM, to continue treatment for his injury.

Ngo Dang Khoa sustained an injury while still playing for his club. An MRI scan confirmed a grade 2 meniscus tear. During the recent training camp with the national team, Khoa was unable to participate in regular training sessions, only focusing on recovery exercises and physical therapy as prescribed by the medical staff.

According to doctors' assessments, if he continues training and playing without full recovery, Ngo Dang Khoa risks worsening the injury, potentially leading to a grade 3 meniscus tear requiring surgical intervention.

The current squad size for the Vietnam national team is 27 players. Duy Manh, Ngoc Bao, and Khuat Van Khang are still unable to train with the full team.

As planned, the Vietnam national team will continue training in Hanoi until July 1 before departing for a training camp in South Korea from July 2 to July 14.

During the training camp, the team will play three friendly matches to review squad depth, evaluate player form, and finalize tactical plans ahead of their campaign to defend the ASEAN Cup 2026 championship title.

Sai Gon Titans rise to second place in the national futsal league standings

Sai Gon Titans staged an impressive comeback to defeat Sahako 3-2 in the pivotal match of Round 9 of the HDBank National Futsal Championship 2026, thereby climbing to second place on the table.

Sahako started energetically and took an early lead thanks to a brace by Hoang Phuc. In the 6th minute, he opened the scoring after a well-coordinated play, then completed his double in the 17th minute, putting Sahako ahead 2-0.

Sai Gon Titans did not give up. Just before the first half ended, Quoc Huy seized an opportunity to pull one back, making it 1-2.

In the 29th minute, Minh Quang fired a precise shot to equalize at 2-2. Then, in the 37th minute, Quoc Huy completed his own brace with a goal that sealed a 3-2 victory, capping an emotional comeback for Sai Gon Titans.

The precious three points allowed Sai Gon Titans to leapfrog Sahako and claim second place in the standings, keeping pace with leaders Thai Son Nam TP.HCM in the title race.

Ho Tan Tai joins Ninh Binh FC on a three-year contract

Ninh Binh FC has once again demonstrated its big ambitions ahead of the 2026/27 V-League season by officially signing defender Ho Tan Tai to a three-year deal.

After becoming a free agent at the end of the 2025/26 season, Ho Tan Tai chose the ancient capital club as his new destination. This is considered a quality addition to the defensive line under coach Chu Dinh Nghiem.

Ho Tan Tai also has high hopes for this new chapter. The 1997-born defender aims to win titles with Ninh Binh, especially the V-League championship—a trophy he previously won while playing for CAHN in 2023.

According to the schedule, Ho Tan Tai will join the Ninh Binh squad on July 2 to prepare for the new season.

The arrival of Ho Tan Tai marks another notable signing for Ninh Binh during the summer transfer window.
