U19 Vietnam captain Nguyen Quoc Khanh is becoming one of the most notable figures not only for his professional skills but also for his outstanding educational background. With an IELTS 7.0 certificate and fluent English, the player born in 2007 is considered a typical model for the comprehensively developed young generation of footballers.

Within the U19 Vietnam squad, Quoc Khanh holds a leadership role and is frequently trusted by coach Yutaka Ikeuchi with important tasks. In the match against U19 Timor Leste, he was given the captain's armband and positioned as a right-back, despite being a center-back by trade.
