The all-South Korea Vietnamese student football tournament bearing the name of Coach Kim Sang Sik just took place in Busan.
Vietnamese students in South Korea competed and socialized in a football tournament named after the head coach of the Vietnamese national team, Kim Sang Sik.
The "KSS Cup 2026 – MFC Football Tournament to Support Vietnamese Students Across South Korea" was held on May 30th at Gangseo Sports Park in Busan.
This is a community social activity organized under the name of Coach Kim Sang Sik. It was hosted by MFC Vietnam, in cooperation with DJ Management and SN Company Group, with sponsors including Myeongsamwon, I'm Sleeping, The Dream H&B, Vinhomes Skylake Resort & Villa, and Bosung Metal.

The tournament was completely free of entry fees. On match day, around 300 Vietnamese students from across South Korea took part, creating a lively competitive atmosphere.
A total of 16 teams participated in the finals, including 11 from Busan. After intense matches, Sasang FC (Busan) and PASSION FC (Keimyung University) faced each other in the final.
The two teams drew 1-1 in regular time before heading to a penalty shootout. As a result, PASSION FC won the championship.
The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award went to goalkeeper Nguyen Ngoc Linh of PASSION FC. Coach Kim Sang Sik personally selected and presented this award.
Known as a "football hero" by Vietnamese fans, Coach Kim Sang Sik came directly to the stadium on the day of the tournament to encourage the students and participate in the award ceremony.
He shared: "I am very happy to be able to accompany the young Vietnamese people who are studying and living in South Korea in an event where football brings everyone together. I am truly impressed by the full commitment spirit of all the participants."
