Hanoi Police Club (CAHN) has officially determined their opponent for the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite play-off, as they vie for a ticket to Asia's top club competition. According to the draw, the Vietnamese representative will face Adelaide United, a traditionally strong Australian club.

The match between CAHN and Adelaide United is scheduled for August 11, 2026 at Hindmarsh Stadium in Adelaide. This home advantage for the Australian side is due to their higher club ranking in Asia compared to Vietnam, thus posing a significant challenge for CAHN in this decisive match.

According to AFC regulations, the winner of the play-off will directly enter the group stage of the 2026/27 AFC Champions League Elite, while the loser will drop to the AFC Champions League Two.
