With no goals scored in 90 minutes of tense play, the match went straight to penalties, where the defending champions showed their composure, winning 3-0 convincingly.

In the earlier third-place match, Thai Nguyen T&T defeated Phong Phu Ha Nam by a narrow 1-0 margin to claim the bronze medal. The hot weather significantly affected the quality of play, and both teams were cautious. The turning point came in the 49th minute when Bich Thuy dribbled past three opponents before setting up Ngoc Minh Chuyen for the only goal of the match. This victory allowed Thai Nguyen T&T to finish the tournament in third place.
