In the final match of the season, Cristiano Ronaldo once again proved his class by scoring a brace to help Al-Nassr defeat Damac 4-1, thereby surpassing archrivals Al-Hilal to claim the Saudi Pro League. This is also the first domestic league title for the Portuguese superstar since joining Al-Nassr in 2023.

However, amid the fervent celebrations, an incident in the stands caused Al-Nassr to receive a penalty from the SAFF Disciplinary and Ethics Committee. According to the official announcement, the club was fined 60,000 Saudi riyals, equivalent to approximately 16,000 USD.

The reason stemmed from Al-Nassr fans throwing three water bottles onto the pitch during the match against Damac. Although the incident caused no injuries to players, referees, or stadium staff, and the match proceeded normally without interruption, the Saudi disciplinary body determined this to be a violation of conduct and match organization regulations.

According to Saudi media, the incident was classified as a league regulation violation despite not having serious consequences. This resulted in Al-Nassr facing a financial penalty right after the club's historic moment.

The title of the Saudi Pro League this season holds special significance for Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr. Since moving to the Middle East, CR7 has often been criticized for failing to help the team win major trophies despite consistently maintaining an impressive scoring rate.
