Thai media: 'Who can stop Vietnam in Southeast Asia?'

According to Thai media, Vietnam’s squad is demonstrating significant ambition through extended centralized training and a scheduled trip to South Korea aimed at maintaining their status as Southeast Asia’s number one team.

Thai media have been impressed by Vietnam’s preparation plan for the upcoming phase under coach Kim Sang-sik. The popular fanpage Krian Buriram v2 even referred to the Vietnamese team as the “king of Southeast Asian football” as they aim to defend their regional top spot.

According to the shared post, the Vietnam national team will not participate in FIFA Days friendlies in June. Instead, the whole squad will undergo a long-term training camp to build the strongest roster and prepare for a training trip to South Korea to enhance their technical skills.

A Thai football page believes this move shows the enormous ambition of Vietnamese football. They note that the Vietnam team is seriously preparing to continue dominating Southeast Asia in the coming period.
