Don't miss the "US-Mexico-Canada" World Cup, but cherish our own "World Cup" even more.

By Cheng Shan The US-Mexico-Canada World Cup is about to begin, with the whole world watching. For Chinese fans, it's hard not to feel a twinge of regret—the senior men's team has once again failed to join this grand feast.

But if you look away from the bright lights, you'll see a different, encouraging scene.

The Chinese women's national team, U20 women's team, U17 women's team, and the Chinese men's U17 team have all qualified for their respective World Cups. Four World Cups! That was unimaginable in the past.

What's even more exciting is that three of these tournaments will be packed into the second half of this year—youngsters will appear, compete, and grow on the world stage.

What a delightful step forward this is!

Frankly, we've long gotten used to the idea that "the World Cup doesn't include China." But this time it's different. While we're still mourning the senior team's failure, the kids have quietly made it to their own World Cup level. They may not be familiar to most, but it's exactly these young faces that carry the true future of Chinese football.

Surprises don't have to come from the most glamorous peak moments. Watching the U17 boys fight courageously on the world stage and seeing the women's team carry on the spirit of the "Steel Roses"—this joy of growth, in a way, feels closer to our hearts than watching a World Cup giant match.

We may have missed the US-Mexico-Canada, but we haven't missed hope.

Treasure these youngsters' World Cup. They are seeds, sparks, and the most promising light in the long trough of Chinese football. Instead of sighing at others' grand feasts, let's sit down and cheer for our own kids.
