Vietnam U17's fourth Southeast Asian championship trophy lifting moment

The Vietnam U17 team wrapped up their remarkable campaign at the 2026 Southeast Asian U17 Championship by defeating Malaysia U17 3-0 in the final on April 24 evening in Indonesia, securing their fourth championship and establishing themselves as the most accomplished team in the competition's history.

Notably, Coach Cristiano Roland also made his mark by winning his first title with the team, becoming the first South American coach to achieve a national team-level championship in the region.

Additionally, two Vietnam U17 players received individual awards: the Best Goalkeeper of the tournament was awarded to Ly Xuan Hoa, and the Best Player award went to Chu Ngoc Nguyen Luc.
