Thai team finalizes 23 players to face Vietnam in Asian tournament

The Thai U17 women's national team announced the list of 23 players participating in the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup 2026 in China.

Thai Football Association (FAT) has just announced the 23-player roster for the Thai U17 women's national team preparing for the AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup 2026, hosted by China. Most of the athletes named this time belong to domestic youth training centers such as Chonburi Province Sports School Club, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province Sports Club...

Additionally, two players currently competing abroad, defender Mirika Sheila Murdoch (Meriden School Club, Australia) and forward Supansa Danik van Engelen (Hera United, Netherlands), are also included.

At the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2026, the Thai U17 team is placed in Group A alongside host China, Vietnam U17, and Myanmar U17. In this group, Thailand U17 and the host team are considered the two strongest sides.

The AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup will also serve as the qualifying round for the 2026 U17 World Cup, held in Morocco, where the top four teams will represent Asia.
