Thailand U17 players are placing great determination to beat Laos in order to sustain their hopes for the 2026 Southeast Asia U17 semifinals.
After a shocking 0-1 loss to Myanmar U17, the Thailand U17 team recently quickly resumed training to prepare for the decisive match against Laos U17 in the final round.
During this training session, head coach Sirisak Yodthai spent about an hour focusing on physical recovery for the players after intense matches, as well as conducting specialized training to correct mistakes made in the first two games.
Before the training began, Thanachit Khunchuen, a midfielder for Thailand U17, commented on the team's overall performance, stating that in the match against Myanmar, the team lacked focus towards the end, which is an urgent area needing improvement.
"Regarding our performance in the previous match, our marking ability was not very good. For the upcoming match against Laos U17, we will try our utmost to have a chance to advance to the next round. We will continue fighting and prepare as best as possible. I hope Thai football fans continue to support us",Thanachit affirmed the determination to defeat Laos to secure a ticket to the semifinals.
