Vietnam's U17 team continued to demonstrate overwhelming strength with a decisive 10-0 victory over Timor-Leste U17 in the second match of Group A at the 2026 ASEAN U17 Championship, moving closer to securing a semifinal berth.

Vietnam U17 delivered a crushing 10-0 victory over Timor-Leste U17 in a match where Coach Cristiano Roland's team completely dominated. From the opening minutes, the red-shirted squad controlled the game and quickly opened the scoring in the 6th minute with Nguyen Luc's beautiful free kick.

In the first half, Vietnam U17 continuously increased pressure and added three more goals from Dai Nhan, Ngoc Son, and Nguyen Luc's brace, concluding the initial 45 minutes with a 4-0 advantage.

In the second half, the game's momentum remained unchanged as Vietnam U17 continued to press the opponent. Goals were successively scored by Tri Dung, Van Duong (brace), Duy Khang, and Nguyen Luc – who completed his hat-trick. Notably, Van Duong also shone with two consecutive scoring plays.

The decisive victory helped Vietnam U17 secure 6 points after two matches, while also establishing a significant goal difference advantage (+14). In the final match, the team will face host Indonesia in a decisive encounter for the top spot in Group A and a ticket to the semifinals.
