OFFICIAL: The two Champions League semifinals for the 2025/26 season have been confirmed.

The 2025/26 Champions League has officially determined the four strongest teams, and the semifinal schedule has also been announced.

The Gunners will begin their quest for a spot in the final by visiting Atletico Madrid on April 30, before returning to their home ground Emirates Stadium for the second leg on May 6.

Arsenal has secured a spot in the semifinals for the second consecutive year. after overcoming Sporting CP with an aggregate score of 1-0. Mikel Arteta's side won 1-0 in the away leg in Portugal and drew 0-0 in the home leg. Last season, they were stopped by PSG, and this year they will face Atletico Madrid.

Diego Simeone's team suffered a heavy 0-4 defeat against Arsenal early in the season, but managed to regain their form by defeating Barcelona in the quarter-finals to secure their progression. The Argentine coach is aiming for his third appearance in a Champions League final, after two previous defeats in 2014 and 2016 (both against Real Madrid).

In the other semifinal, reigning champions PSG will face Bayern Munich. The French representative eliminated Liverpool for the second consecutive year and has shown impressive form in their title defense journey.

This semifinal also marks a replay of the 2020 Champions League final, where Bayern Munich emerged victorious. PSG will play the first leg at home on April 29, before traveling to the Allianz Arena on May 7.

Both Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are pursuing their first-ever Champions League title. Both teams have reached the final before but have not been able to claim the trophy, and one of them will come very close to realizing their dream, being just one step away from the final match.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich secured their spot in the semifinals after a thrilling victory over Real Madrid with an aggregate score of 6-4. The second leg ended with a 4-3 score favoring the German side, during which Eduardo Camavinga was sent off, while Luis Diaz and Michael Olise scored decisive goals late in the match.
