Gary Neville thinks Manchester City clearly sense the opportunity to turn the tables. Manchester City have sniffed the chance, and they have a full week to prepare for the big battle.”

After the victory over Chelsea, manager Guardiola also acknowledged that the longer break between matches has clearly benefited Manchester City. He stated: “Now we have more relaxed weeks of play, as we have been eliminated from the Champions League. We are more energetic, everyone trains together, and the players understand better what they need to do. That is the reality.”.

Since being eliminated from the Champions League by Real Madrid, Manchester City has been returning to its destructive form. In their last three matches, the Etihad side has scored nine goals and conceded none. Notably, their opponents have been top-tier teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
