Taking advantage of a determined pressing situation, Queensland Maroon U15 regained possession and quickly converted the opportunity into a goal.

During the remaining time, the Vietnam women's U15 continued to maintain a confident style of play, organized many attacking moves, and created quite a few opportunities, but could not convert them into goals. The match concluded with a 1-1 draw, providing further valuable experience for the Vietnam women's U15 in their professional preparation process.

On April 11 and 12, the Vietnam women's U15 team will continue to play matches against opponents in this invitation tournament.

The Vietnam women's U15 team will participate in the CommBank Emerging Championships 2026, held from April 9 to 15 at the Home of the Matildas Centre (Bundoora, Melbourne). This is a reputable youth talent development platform in Australian football, gathering top youth teams and international guest teams.

The tournament is part of the Australian football system for identifying and nurturing young players, creating a high-quality competitive environment that helps players accumulate experience and encounter various playing styles. Participating in the tournament is an important opportunity for Vietnam's young players to gain international exposure, enhance their expertise, and also contribute to strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese and Australian football in youth training and development work.
