Indonesian goalkeeper: 'Vietnam team is one of the strongest in Southeast Asia'

Indonesian futsal goalkeeper Muhammad Albagir shows significant respect for the Vietnamese futsal team prior to the semifinal.

At 5:00 PM on April 10, the Vietnamese futsal team will enter the Southeast Asian semifinal against Indonesia. This match is considered extremely challenging for coach Diego Giustozzi and his players, as the Indonesian team is the reigning champion of the tournament and currently in very high form.

On the other side, Indonesia also holds great respect for the Vietnamese futsal team. Before the match, Indonesian goalkeeper Muhammad Albagir praised Vietnam extensively: “I am very happy that we have reached the semifinals. This match will be very difficult because we will face one of the strongest teams in Southeast Asia. Vietnam has played very well and demonstrated high quality.”

Muhammad Albagir is one of the most outstanding figures in Indonesian futsal currently. He previously won the best goalkeeper award at the Southeast Asian Futsal Championship2022. When asked about returning to the tournament after participating in 2022 and receiving high praise from Thai futsal fans, he said:

“Thank you very much for the support from the Thai people. This time, I hope to give my best effort.”
