Vietnamese U23 goalkeeper from the Thường Châu generation officially obtains AFC/VFF 'C' coaching license.

Hanoi FC goalkeeper Văn Hoàng has completed the AFC/VFF 'C' coaching certification course in Hai Phong.

On April 8th, the closing ceremony of the AFC/VFF 'C' coaching certification course took place in Hai Phong. The course, held from March 27th to April 8th, 2026, was organized by the Vietnam Football Federation in collaboration with Hai Phong Football Club and the Hai Phong Football Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, instructor Trần Duy Quang praised the serious learning attitude of the participants throughout the 13-day training. He emphasized the significance of Vietnamese instructors gradually mastering the training program, contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnamese football.

Assistant instructor Nguyễn Lương Phúc acknowledged the efforts and mutual support spirit among the participants. He expressed hope that after the course, the coaches would effectively apply the knowledge to youth training in their localities, contributing to grassroots football development.

Representing the participants, goalkeeper Nguyễn Văn Hoàng shared that the course provided in-depth knowledge, helping to change perspectives on youth football coaching. He also highly appreciated the dedication of the teaching staff.

Analytical coach Marcelo da Silva also expressed his impression with the course quality and stated that this is an important foundation for developing the next generation of players for Vietnamese football.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Hưởng highlighted the role of coaches in guiding and building the foundation for youth football. He hoped participants would effectively fulfill their roles locally after the course. Meanwhile, Mr. Đặng Văn Sơn stated that Hai Phong Football Club is always ready to cooperate and facilitate future training courses.

The AFC/VFF 'C' coaching certification course in Hai Phong concluded successfully, contributing to improving the quality of coaching personnel. It aims towards the goal of developing professional, sustainable, and internationally integrated Vietnamese football.
