OFFICIAL: Former Arsenal star nicknamed 'Death' announces retirement

Former Arsenal midfielder and Welsh national team player Aaron Ramsey has officially announced his retirement from professional football.

Recently, midfielder Aaron Ramsey announced his retirement at age 35, following a brief stint with Mexican club Pumas last year.

The Welsh star posted a statement on his personal Instagram account confirming that he will move on to a new chapter in his life. Ramsey shared: "This was truly not an easy decision. After much reflection and consideration, I have decided to retire from professional football.

First, I want to express my gratitude to the Welsh national team. Representing my country has always been a tremendous honor, and I have had the opportunity to experience many unforgettable moments. None of that would have been possible without the guidance of the coaches and the dedicated support from the staff behind the scenes.
