This plan was announced at the 12th meeting of the Vietnam Football Federation Executive Committee (term 2022-2026) held yesterday in Hanoi.

Regarding Vietnam's women's national teams, the VFF continues to prioritize investment, with the women's national team undergoing a transition and focusing on squad development, aiming for the 2030 Asian Cup qualifiers and SEA Games 34.

Vietnam men's futsal team participates in Southeast Asian tournament from April 6-12 in Thailand. Vietnam U20 women's team competes in AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup finals from April 1-18 in Thailand. Vietnam U17 women's team participates in AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup finals from May 1-17 in China.

On March 30th afternoon, at the TDTT Thống Nhất Hall (Ho Chi Minh City), the VFF collaborated with Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) to launch the second mid-season training session for referees and referee supervisors of the 2025/26 national professional football leagues.

The training session runs from March 30th to April 2nd. The program focuses on reviewing supervisory and match management practices through real cases and video analysis. Besides theoretical lessons and professional discussions, referees and assistant referees also undergo training and physical fitness tests according to standards.

According to regulations, only referees and assistant referees who pass the physical fitness test are eligible to be assigned duties for the 2025/2026 national professional football leagues.

Yesterday afternoon (March 30th), the Vietnam U20 women's national team had their second training session in Bangkok (Thailand) during preparations for the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup 2026 finals.

Speaking before the training session, forward Lưu Hoàng Vân stated that the team has been preparing diligently: "The Vietnam U20 women's team has been training and preparing very seriously, following the coaching staff's tactics during this period to prepare for the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup 2026."

Analyzing opponents in Group A, Hoàng Vân assessed that the China U20 women's team is a major challenge: "In my opinion, the China U20 women's team is very strong, perhaps the strongest in Group A.

During this time, the Vietnam U20 women's team has trained very thoroughly, and the coaching staff has devised strategies for this matchup to achieve the best result."

According to the plan, the Vietnam U20 women's team will continue training in Bangkok to refine their skills before embarking on their campaign at the AFC U20 Women's Asian Cup 2026 finals.
