Dinh Trong and Van Hau are among the group of seven Hanoi Police (CAHN) players called up to the Vietnam national team for the FIFA Days in March 2026.

The last time Dinh Trong wore the Vietnam national team jersey was in a friendly match where they defeated Singapore 4-0 on September 21, 2022. At this point, Dinh Trong has been away from the national team jersey for over 1200 days.
