Southeast Asian fans collectively react as Vietnam's national team rises 5 spots on the FIFA rankings.

Southeast Asian fans share diverse comments about the most recent standings of teams on the FIFA rankings.

According to the latest update from the FIFA rankings, the Vietnam national team has climbed 5 positions to rank 103rd ahead of two matches scheduled during the FIFA Days in March.Previously, due to AFC officially awarding a 0-3 loss to Malaysia for matches using ineligible naturalized players, Vietnam regained 3 points and approximately 25 points on the ranking table.

With this result, Vietnam temporarily ranks second in the Southeast Asian region, behind Thailand (ranked 96th). Indonesia holds third place (ranked 121st), while Malaysia dropped 14 spots to position 135 in the latest rankings.

The changes in the FIFA rankings have attracted significant attention from regional fans. On Southeast Asian football forums, supporters posted a series of contrasting comments:

"The outcome of Malaysia's football revolution... is truly laughable; even as a Malaysian, I find it utterly ridiculous."

"Malaysia is suffering severe consequences for its wrongful actions."

"Malaysia did 'everything' but ended up at 135th, while Indonesia did nothing and sits at 121st."

"Congratulations to Indonesia for officially surpassing Malaysia on the rankings."

Additionally, many also extended congratulations to the Vietnam national team for this strong growth. After nearly two years, "The Golden Star Warriors" have reached their highest FIFA position, approaching the world's top 100 and facing a major opportunity to reestablish a milestone once consistently maintained in the past.

"Vietnam is the happiest right now," "Thanks to the awarded win, Vietnam is very close to the top 100," "Congratulations Vietnam! The 3 points from Malaysia were indeed beneficial."

"Vietnam will soon reclaim the top spot in Southeast Asia; Thailand should be cautious," many fans commented.
