Maguire receives red card, Manchester United loses points against Bournemouth

(Football result) - Manchester United was held to a 2-2 draw by Bournemouth in a thrilling Premier League match, with the turning point coming from Harry Maguire's red card causing the "Red Devils" to regrettably drop the victory.

However, the "Red Devils' joy did not last long when just 6 minutes later, Ryan Christie neatly finished inside the box, equalizing 1-1 for Bournemouth.

Not discouraged, the team under manager Michael Carrick quickly restored the lead in the 71st minute when Fernandes' corner kick caused James Hill to score an own goal. Nevertheless, Bournemouth once again showed strong fighting spirit.

After Alex Scott hit the post, the home team was awarded a penalty when Evanilson was fouled by Harry Maguire inside the penalty area, and simultaneously the Manchester United defender received a direct red card. From the penalty spot, substitute player Eli Junior Kroupi executed successfully, sealing the 2-2 score and creating tense final minutes.

Playing with an extra man, Bournemouth pushed forward seeking a decisive goal but Manchester United held firm during added time to secure an important point in the race for a Champions League spot.
