Đông Á Thanh Hóa recruited Ngô Đức Hoàng and Matias Moldskred Belli right after FIFA lifted the transfer ban.
After FIFA removed the transfer ban, Đông Á Thanh Hóa immediately accelerated in the market and recruited two notable names, Ngô Đức Hoàng and Matias Moldskred Belli, to strengthen the squad for the second half of the season.
Previously, the Thanh-based club was banned from registering new players due to unfinished financial obligations with former foreign players. However, after settling all debts, FIFA officially lifted the penalty, paving the way for Thanh Hóa to return to the transfer race at a crucial moment.
Not missing the opportunity, the Thanh Hóa coaching staff quickly completed procedures to reinforce the squad before the registration deadline. Among the new recruits, midfielder Ngô Đức Hoàng joined from Hà Nội FC on loan, expected to bring flexibility to the midfield.
Born in 2002, Ngô Đức Hoàng grew up in the Hà Nội academy and had playing time for Phù Đổng and PVF-CAND. Despite possessing a good technical foundation and winning many youth-level titles, he did not have many playing opportunities at Hà Nội FC, thus deciding to seek a new challenge at Thanh Hóa.
Additionally, the Thanh-based club also drew attention by recruiting foreign player Matias Moldskred Belli. The 1997-born defender, standing 1.89m tall, has played for several European clubs and is a member of the Nicaragua national team with over 30 appearances.
The simultaneous addition of Ngô Đức Hoàng and Matias Belli shows Đông Á Thanh Hóa's clear ambition to improve squad depth. With the "transfer shackles" removed, the Thanh-based club now faces a major opportunity to break through in the remainder of the season.
