Coach Le Duc Tuan of Da Nang praised central defender Que Ngoc Hai after the loss to Nam Dinh in the National Cup.

Coach Le Duc Tuan gave much praise for the role of veteran central defender Que Ngoc Hai after the match at Chi Lang Stadium on March 18th. He emphasized that the experience and composure of the former Vietnam national team captain remain extremely important factors for the Han River team during its current difficult period.

According to this strategist, Que Ngoc Hai not only brings solidity to the defense but also serves as a spiritual leader in the locker room. “Hai once wore the captain's armband for the Vietnam national team, so we greatly need his experience. Recently, Hai has significantly improved his fitness and maintained good form in the V.League,” Coach Tuan shared.

Coach Le Duc Tuan also highly valued the professionalism of his pupil despite having passed the peak of his career. He believes that if he maintains his current fitness foundation and performance level, Que Ngoc Hai can definitely play at a high level for another 2 to 3 years, continuing to make important contributions to the team.

Previously, Da Nang had to stop in the quarter-finals of the National Cup after a 1-2 defeat to Nam Dinh right at home. Despite great effort in the second half and a goal to narrow the gap by Nguyen Phi Hoang in the 58th minute, the host team at Chi Lang Stadium could not reverse the situation against the more efficient opponent.

Although eliminated from the National Cup, Da Nang will have the opportunity to focus fully on the goal of staying in the V.League. The team currently ranks 13th with 12 points, just 1 point above the bottom-placed PVF-CAND, making the relegation battle in the upcoming stage promise to be extremely tense.
