The second leg matches of the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Round of 16 will take place on the early mornings of March 18 and 19, featuring numerous notable fixtures.

Despite having six representatives in the Round of 16, none of the Premier League teams secured an advantage after the first leg and all face the risk of early elimination. Meanwhile, Atalanta – the sole Serie A representative in the knockout stage Champions League also faces the prospect of exiting the competition after this round.

Sporting vs Bodo/Glimt

Despite playing at home, Sporting Lisbon's chances of advancing are very slim. The 0-3 defeat in the first leg forces the Portuguese side to attack aggressively and hope for a miraculous comeback.

On the other side, Bodo/Glimt simply needs to play solidly and maintain their current advantage to secure progression. The Norwegian representative is accustomed to being underestimated in European competitions, but they often create surprises through disciplined and effective play.

Chelsea vs PSG

Tottenham vs Atletico Madrid

Tottenham has almost lost hope after the 2-5 defeat in the first leg. Spurs are experiencing a difficult period, having failed to win in seven consecutive matches across all competitions.

The Kop is still rated higher due to squad quality and home advantage. If they play to their standard, Liverpool can completely reverse the situation in a match that promises to be very exciting.

Bayern vs Atalanta

This is likely the least dramatic tie of the Round of 16. Bayern Munich secured a heavy 6-1 victory away in the first leg, almost placing one foot in the quarter-finals. With such a large advantage and playing at home, even if using a rotated squad, Vincent Kompany's team is predicted to easily complete the task and secure progression.
