The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has just announced the 10 most beautiful goals from the group stage of the 2026 Women's Asian Cup, including a goal scored by Ngân Thị Vạn Sự.
The goal by Vạn Sự that AFC referred to is her opening goal against the Indian women's national team. In the 29th minute, following a setup from Thái Thị Thảo, Vietnam women's team player number 21 surged forward and swiftly unleashed a shot that sailed over goalkeeper Panthoi Chanu's head and straight into the top corner of the goal.
"A shot into the top corner is always a thrilling sight. Ngân Thị Vạn Sự delivered an excellent strike, the ball soared beyond the reach of goalkeeper Panthoi Chanu and went straight into the top corner of the net," AFC described the goal scored by the Vietnamese national team player.
Notably, before this match concluded, Vạn Sự added another goal to secure a 2-1 victory for the red-shirted team on their opening day. Unfortunately, ultimately, Coach Mai Đức Chung and his squad could not advance to the quarter-finals and stopped early at the group stage.
Besides the masterpiece by Ngân Thị Vạn Sự, AFC also honored nine other goals from nine different players including: Myong Yu Jong - North Korea vs Uzbekistan, Wang Shuang - China vs Bangladesh, Park Soo-jeong - Philippines vs South Korea, Su Yu-Hsuan - Chinese Taipei vs Vietnam, Yuzuki Yamamoto - India vs Japan, Mun Eun-ju - Australia vs South Korea, Sam Kerr - Australia vs South Korea, and Manisha Kalyan - India vs Taiwan (China).
