Naturalized midfielder Đỗ Hoàng Hên scored a double, securing a 2-1 victory for Hanoi Football Club against CAHN on the day when Vietnam national team head coach Kim Sang Sik attended, selecting players for the training camp starting March 21.
In the 26th minute, Đỗ Hoàng Hên executed a neat ball control and clever shielding before decisively striking with his left foot, leaving goalkeeper Nguyễn Filip no chance to save.
By the 74th minute, he also successfully converted a penalty kick, scoring the second goal for Hanoi FC.

Although Leo Artur scored a similar goal, narrowing the gap to 1-2 for CAHN, the victory and Đỗ Hoàng Hên's standout performance were the highlights of this match.
At the post-match press conference, Hanoi FC coach Harry Kewell enthusiastically stated: "Today Hoàng Hên performed the 'dirty work' of the match. He ran a lot and is a great talent. He also scored a double and is very important to us. As I said earlier, this is the most exciting match I've seen, and I love it.
I think this was a perfect match. Two teams with completely different styles. Such matches need to happen to show everyone the quality of the V.League.
Sometimes the referee allows certain things to happen, but it happens for both sides. And I think this is the football style Vietnam can showcase. I want to see this from my team, from the opponent. Because matches like this make me feel excited and thrilled."
We had a main plan and a backup option. I found our backup plan more suitable to deal with CAHN. The players effectively neutralized their strongest strengths: ball control and long passes behind the defense."
Explaining the near-outburst situation at the end of the match, Coach Hoàng Hên shared: "I've never seen a referee count down '5-4-3-2-1' and then... immediately award a corner kick to the opponent. I've only seen this 1-2 times worldwide. We placed the ball down, and he counted down. If that situation led to a 3-on-1 counterattack and a goal by the opponent, what then? I truly don't understand."

Meanwhile, Hoàng Hên stated: "I felt fantastic in my first derby. This was an extremely important match after we just lost to Viettel. For me, the two goals are how I helped the team, but the most important thing is still the three points and the collective victory.
We knew CAHN is very strong, they control the ball well and are in high form. However, Hanoi FC is also a very strong collective. We worked hard and believed that with effort, the goal would be achieved.
I came here for big matches like this. I want to help Hanoi FC return to the position the club deserves, which is being the best football team in Vietnam.
Everything is very easy for me. I've been in Vietnam for over five and a half years, Hanoi is a wonderful city. Moreover, I already know, have faced, and even teamed up with many teammates here, so I have no difficulties adapting."
