Viettel achieves a notable 3-1 win against Becamex TP HCM as Khuất Văn Khang shines on the field.

Viettel enters round 15 of the V-League aiming to secure all three points, given that Ninh Bình FC recently lost and CAHN is set to face Hanoi FC. A victory for Viettel would both widen the gap with third-placed Ninh Bình and simultaneously pressure the league leaders, CAHN.

Viettel fans did not have to wait long to celebrate a goal. Just in the 3rd minute, Khuất Văn Khang dazzled with a delightful solo move on the left flank, using a feint to deceive Becamex TP HCM's defender before finishing with his right foot into the far corner of the net.

However, only six minutes later, Becamex TP HCM managed to equalize at 1-1. Thanh Long produced a half-shot, half-slap situation, and in a moment of distraction, Viettel goalkeeper Văn Việt could not prevent the goal, bringing the match back to a level score.

Nevertheless, Viettel went into halftime on the away ground with a lead advantage. From a free kick, striker Lucao leaped high and unleashed a powerful header in the 42nd minute, allowing Viettel to regain a 2-1 lead over the hosts.

In the second half, Becamex TP HCM generated considerable pressure hoping to at least secure a point at home, while Viettel also deliberately slowed the pace to preserve their advantage. Finally, in the 80th minute, Viettel sealed the 3-1 score with Wesley Nata's stunning long-range strike, leaving Becamex TP HCM's goalkeeper completely helpless.

Ultimately, Viettel claimed a 3-1 win over Becamex TP HCM and now holds a 3-point lead over Ninh Bình in third place. Moreover, if CAHN loses to Hanoi in the capital derby, Viettel would trail the top spot by only 4 points and have played one more match.
