Malaysia has the potential to call up three naturalized players for the Vietnam national team.

Malaysian media reports that coach Peter Cklamovski has three additional high-quality personnel options ahead of the match against Vietnam in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

Malaysian media, including Makanbola, suggests that the Malaysian national team could add several naturalized players currently playing abroad before facing Vietnam. This is seen as a strategy to help "The Malayan Tigers" maintain squad strength during the decisive phase of Group F in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

According to the article, coach Peter Cklamovski still possesses many quality options even though the Malaysian squad may be affected by recent legal decisions. The three overseas players mentioned include Richars Chin, Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal, and Sam Bone —names considered capable of strengthening the national team.

Among them, Richars Chin—a player for Raith Rovers—is seen as a strong candidate. The 24-year-old has just returned from injury and made a substitute appearance in the Scottish Championship during the 2025/26 season.
