With this form, Barcelona is sure to win La Liga and the Champions League.

Even though they were knocked out of the Copa del Rey, defender Ronald Araujo believes Barcelona will rule La Liga and the Champions League if they can sustain this intense competitive drive.

In the early hours of March 3rd, Barcelona delivered an emotionally charged match for the fans, defeating Atletico Madrid 3-0 in the second leg of the semifinal. However, this resounding victory was not enough to overturn the first-leg deficit (a 0-4 loss). Ultimately, Hansi Flick's squad was eliminated with an aggregate score of 3-4.

Although the dream of a "treble" officially ended, the way Barcelona suffocated their opponent until the final minutes reignited hope among the supporters. Instead of being disappointed, vice-captain Ronald Araujo expressed immense pride:

“The whole team gave everything. We were just a little short, but I am proud. We must continue on this path to win the remaining titles: La Liga and the Champions League.”

Despite winning 3-0 in the second leg, Barcelona was still knocked out of the Copa del Rey with an aggregate score of 3-4 against Atletico Madrid.

Ronald Araujo believes the dominant attacking style Barcelona displayed against a stubborn Atletico is the key to conquering bigger stages. The Uruguayan defender made a firm declaration: “If we keep playing like this, we can win the two remaining titles.”

Alongside his confidence in the team, Araujo also did not forget to praise his young teammate Pau Cubarsi—the biggest discovery in Barcelona's defense this season: “Pau Cubarsi performed excellently. He is a fantastic player, he helps us a lot. He keeps improving and is very important for us.”

The partnership between Araujo's experience and the young talent Cubarsi is forming a solid defensive wall, laying the foundation for the Catalan club's championship ambitions.

Araujo believes Barcelona still has the capability to conquer the two major remaining titles.

The match against Atletico also marked a historic personal milestone for Araujo: his 200th official appearance for Barcelona. Since joining in 2018, the 26-year-old has risen from a reserve team newcomer to become the "soul" of the defense.

With 133 wins in his 200 matches played, Araujo is not only a defender with exceptional speed and strength but also a symbol of the club's rebuilding spirit. Whether under Xavi or now Hansi Flick, the importance of the Uruguayan player is irreplaceable.

With the 200-match milestone as a foundation, Araujo is ready to lead his teammates toward the ultimate goal: bringing home the La Liga and Champions League trophies to make up for the domestic cup disappointment.
