Barcelona secured a 3-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in the second leg of the Spanish King's Cup semifinals, yet their exit was confirmed by a 3-4 aggregate score after both legs.

Heading into the second leg at Camp Nou, Barcelona faced a daunting task, having lost 0-4 in the first leg back in early February.

Barcelona started with high intensity, as Fermin Lopez's long-range shot that hit the crossbar initiated a wave of sustained pressure from Hansi Flick's side.

However, they soon suffered a setback when Jules Kounde was injured and had to leave the pitch. Antoine Griezmann even came close to scoring against his former club during an Atletico counter-attack.

The Catalan side took the lead in the 29th minute. Lamine Yamal broke down the right flank and delivered a low cross for Bernal to tap in from close range in a favorable position. In this instance, an 18-year-old player assisted another 18-year-old to score.

After taking the lead, Hansi Flick's team played with greater confidence. Barca doubled their advantage before halftime. Pedri was fouled by Marc Pubill inside the box, leading to a penalty award. Raphinha then deceived Musso from the spot to make it 2-0 for the hosts in the 45+5th minute.

In the remaining minutes, Hansi Flick's players continued their attacking efforts. However, Atletico held firm until the final whistle, preventing Barcelona from scoring a fourth goal.

In the end, Diego Simeone's team lost 0-3 away but still progressed with a 4-3 aggregate score. In the final, Atletico Madrid will face the winner of the match between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao.
