CAHN can win the 2025/26 V-League early.

Hanoi Police (CAHN) is not only at the top of the table but also holds a significant lead over the rest of the V-League. Coach Alexandre Polking's team is aiming for an early championship in the 2025/26 V-League, similar to what Hanoi FC achieved in the 2018 season.

Eight years ago,Hanoi FCled by Coach Chu Đình Nghiêm at that time, made history by clinching the title five rounds early. Hanoi FC also remained unbeaten in the first half of the season with 35 points, a feat that CAHN has now replicated.

That is why the team ofCoach Polkingis considered fully capable of achieving what their capital city rivals accomplished within this very season.

If counting the first-leg victory over HAGL instead of the postponed match against SHB Đà Nẵng, CAHN has played 13 matches and remains undefeated.

Quang Hai and his teammates boast an outstanding record with 31 goals (an average of 2.38 per match) and only 10 conceded (0.76 per match). With a goal difference of +21, CAHN is ahead of the chasing team, Ninh Bình (+12, the second-highest in the league).

CAHN is maintaining consistent form and possesses formidable squad depth, which is tilting what was expected to be a competitive title race heavily in their favor.

The most notable point is not just the points tally, but how CAHN earns them. Coach Polking's players do not always win easily, but they consistently find a way to overcome difficult moments. When trailing, CAHN can turn the game around. Teams like SLNA, Thanh Hóa, Ninh Bình, and HAGL have experienced this against CAHN.

The striker duo of Alan and Artur alone has scored 19 of the club's 31 goals. Even full-backs like Minh Phúc and Văn Hậu have contributed 3 goals. This stability and diversity in attacking play create the biggest gap compared to the chasing pack.

In contrast, their direct competitors have repeatedly stumbled. Ninh Bình once led for much of the first half and was even seen as the biggest challenger. However, three consecutive defeats have caused Hoàng Đức and his teammates to fall behind.

More importantly, these were matches where Ninh Bình either led or were favored but failed to hold their advantage, essentially shooting themselves in the foot in the long race.

Thể Công Viettel has secured important wins to climb to second place. However, the consistency of this squad remains questionable. Hanoi FC has also faltered again after losing to Thể Công Viettel on March 1st.

The most historically successful club in the V-League, with 6 titles, is precariously positioned on its comeback path. And as long as CAHN does not slip up, every mistake by Hanoi FC only widens the gap.

For CAHN now, the V-League trophy is the sole remaining motivation to conquer. Therefore, Coach Polking's team knows what it must do to avoid ending this season empty-handed.

Psychological pressure is mounting on the competing rivals, and at this stage, the race is becoming even more burdensome for Thể Công Viettel, Ninh Bình, and Hanoi FC.

The match schedule, injuries, or suspensions could introduce variables. But judging by how CAHN has operated throughout the first half of the season, it is hard to believe this team will squander such a large advantage on its own.

Thus, the championship race is increasingly leaning heavily in one direction. Unless the chasing pack makes a strong surge, the 2025/26 V-League could witness a champion being decided earlier than expected.
