In an interview with a VNA reporter in Australia during the welcome event, Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Hà – Consul General of Vietnam responsible for Western Australia and the Northern Territory – emphasized that the Vietnamese women's football team's participation in this continental-level tournament is an honor not only for the nation's sports but also for the overseas Vietnamese community. The Consul General affirmed: "The team's presence in Perth is a vivid testament to the courage, will, and aspirations of Vietnamese women. This is also an opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic, confident, and deeply integrated Vietnam within the region and the world."
Consul General Nguyễn Thanh Hà expressed confidence that, with thorough preparation and a spirit of unity, the female players will compete wholeheartedly, showcase their highest professional skills, and uphold the positive image of Vietnamese Sports. She stated that the Vietnamese Consulate General in Perth and the overseas Vietnamese community in Western Australia will actively accompany and cheer for the team during their matches, providing a solid spiritual foundation for the players in a foreign land.
Sharing with the VNA reporter, Ms. Hồng Jackson – former President of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Western Australia – expressed her emotion at being able to personally welcome the team at the airport. According to her, the journey of Vietnamese women's football over the years has powerfully inspired the overseas Vietnamese community with its determination and aspirations.

Associate Professor – Dr. Dương Thị Hồng Liên, working at Curtin University and Vice President of the Vietnamese Intellectuals and Experts Association in Australia, stated that the Vietnamese intellectual community here always follows and takes pride in the progress of the homeland's women's football. She believes the team will compete with confidence and courage, continuing to spread the beautiful image of Vietnam in the "Land of Kangaroos."
Ms. Hannah Huyền Vũ – President of the Australia-Vietnam Talent Network (AVTN) – excitedly shared that she and the Association's members had eagerly awaited the day to welcome the team at the airport to share in the joy and pride of the young Vietnamese generation. According to her, the team competing in Australia is an opportunity for the overseas community, especially the youth born and raised in Australia, to better understand, take pride in, and love their Vietnamese homeland. She hopes the team will play confidently, maintain their spirit, and achieve the best results.
Meanwhile, Ms. Hollie Trần - Vice President of AVTN – affirmed: "We will fuel the spirit for the girls of the national team with all our passion and solidarity, so they can compete confidently and courageously, true to the tournament's slogan 'Dream Fearless'."
