Coach Mai Duc Chung confirms the list of 26 players for the Vietnam Women's National Team competing in the 2026 Women's Asian Cup Finals.
On the afternoon of February 26, the Vietnam Women's National Team, led by Coach Mai Duc Chung, held their final training session before departing for Australia to participate in the 2026 Asian Cup Finals. Notably, the 76-year-old strategist has confirmed the official 26-player squad for the tournament.
Accordingly, the core of the red-shirted team still includes familiar faces such as goalkeeper Kim Thanh, defenders Tran Thi Thu, Hoang Loan, Diem My, Tran Thi Duyen, midfielders Bich Thuy, Thai Thi Thao, Ngan Thi Van Su... Meanwhile, the key duo Huynh Nhu and Hai Yen continue to be the leaders of the attacking line.
Alongside the experienced players, Coach Mai Duc Chung continues to give opportunities to young talents, notably including Tran Hai Linh, Nguyen Thi Hoa, Tran Nhat Lan, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, Vu Thi Hoa, and Ngoc Minh Chuyen... Furthermore, forward Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ngan (HCMC Women's Football Club) has also been added to the list and joined the national team since February 18, 2026, to replace a previous injury case and bolster the attacking strength of the Vietnam Women's National Team.

According to the plan, the Vietnam Women's National Team departs for Perth (Australia) today, February 27, ready for their journey to conquer the challenge at the 2026 Asian Finals. In Group C, the whole team will play their opening match against India on March 4, followed by matches against Chinese Taipei (March 7) and Japan (March 10).
